This is an online workshop target at students and staff who are in need of full-text resources for their learning, teaching and research. This workshop will introduce how to find full-text resources effectively using library databases and tools.​ The following topics will be covered: 

  1. What are full-text resources

  2. The purpose of using full-text resources

  3. Basic full-text searching skills

  4. Creating your own search alerts

  5. The utilisation of full-text resources

Aim: 

This workshop will:

  1. Improve your understandings of your information needs

  2. Formulate an advanced searching strategy to find full-text resources
