Course Description:

This in an online workshop targeted for staff and students who will be using patents for their research. This workshop will introduce the basics of patents and how to search a patent. The following topics will be covered:

  1. What is a patent

  2. What does a patent document contain

  3. How to search for a patent

Aim:

After this session, you are expected to be able to:

  1. Understand the basics of patent

  2. Comprehend the patent retrieval method
