Course Description:

This workshop introduces the Library's online resources in the field of business/commercial research and how to find your needed business information effectively. The following topics will be covered:

  1. Full-text databases in Business/Economics/Finance
  2. Searching tips for using full-text databases effectively
  3. Finding business and financial statistics using library databases and online resources
  4. Library subject guides

Learning Outcomes:

After this workshop, you are expected to be able to:

  1. Select appropriate subject resources to find business-related materials
  2. Find business articles, business profiles and reports effectively
  3. Understand the features of statistical databases
  4. Find business and financial statistics using both library databases and online resources
